These terms govern the use of the Floraneo app, an educational tool for learning to recognise plants, as well as subscription to its paid Premium offer. By using Floraneo, you accept these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Floraneo is for learning to recognise plants — it is neither an edibility guide nor a medical tool. Never rely on Floraneo alone to decide whether a plant is safe to eat, to touch, or to use medicinally: if in doubt, consult a qualified person. This reminder is shown to you the first time you use the app, and appears at the bottom of every plant profile.
Most of Floraneo can be used without an account. Creating an account is optional and lets you save your progress and get it back on several devices. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. Floraneo is intended for people aged 15 or over; below that age, creating an account requires the consent of a holder of parental authority.
The Premium subscription is a paid service with no minimum commitment period, billed monthly or annually depending on the plan chosen, at the price shown on the subscription page at the time of subscribing. Payment is handled by Stripe; Floraneo never sees or stores your bank card number.
The subscription renews automatically at its due date, unless you cancel before that date. You can cancel at any time from the subscription management area available in the app (Stripe portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no pro rata refund for the current period.
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose performance has begun after your prior express consent and your express waiver of that right — by subscribing, you request immediate access to the Premium content and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal as soon as you access it.
The profiles, lessons and illustrations on Floraneo are provided for educational purposes, with care taken over their accuracy, but without any guarantee of completeness or of being entirely free of errors. You can report an error or suggest a photo from the app; any contribution sent may be used, modified or refused by Floraneo without any obligation to justify, and must respect the copyright and intellectual property rights of third parties.
If you are a Premium subscriber and create a community practice mode, its title, its description and your first name become visible to other users; you remain responsible for the content you publish.
You undertake to use Floraneo in good faith: no automated extraction of the content (scraping, bots), no attempt to circumvent technical limitations or Premium access, and no unlawful, abusive or misleading content in your contributions.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings — see our privacy policy for details of what this erases. Floraneo may suspend or delete an account in the event of use that is manifestly contrary to these terms.
Floraneo is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for decisions taken on the basis of the app’s content, nor for service interruptions caused by third-party technical providers (hosting, payment, storage) beyond its control.
